Guest guest
Good question! It is usually hard to get much alcohol with out using alot more sugar. Most of us use 1 to 1.5 cups per gallon. Did you use more or did you add juice, fruit or extra sugar and then bottle it? I would try mixing it with juice or diluting it with plain soda water. You could save some of it and let it keep going (if it is just plain KT) until it is vinegar and use it as a starter or use as you would any vinegar. Have fun! > > what can i do if my kombucha taste too fermented (i.e., too much alcoholic taste) >

Guest guest
Could it be yeast rather than alcohol? I've had people tell me my KT smells like alcohol (beer) because of the yeast which is in both. I know it doesn't have much if any alcohol because I am a teetotaler and I can guzzle KT without feeling loopy or lightheaded. in Texas > > > > what can i do if my kombucha taste too fermented (i.e., too much alcoholic taste) > > >
