Lotion Bar problem

Hello,

I have made several trial batches of a lotion bar that has come out really

well. I made a batch today and had the last two bars that I poured end up with

goo on the bottom, almost a watery sludge. There was two things that I did

differently. One is that I substituted a small amount of glycerin for castor

oil, the other is I used a different brand of fragrance oil. Can glycerin be

used in lotion bars, it is the one thing I am leaning towards as maybe being the

problem?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
