update on me

Hey, gang, just wanted you to know I went to my doctor yesterday and am doing

much better. My white count is still high at 18,000 (better than the 29,000

last week!) but overall, much improved. My rash has left me for the moment,

thank God, and I don't ever care to see it again. I am tapered down from 60 mg

pred to 30mgs now so hopefully I will be on the right road soon.

I am sure you all remember the stress I have been going through... had to put

my dog to sleep, my husband was in the hospital for 4 days, my 19 yr old son was

dx'd w/a lung tumor and then yesterday, my husband got into it with the new

sales manager and he fired him. We didn't think too much of since Dan has been

in this business for 24 years and is their biggest money maker, but when he went

to talk to the superior (supposedly an old friend of ours) he was told that he

would stand by the Sales mgrs decision, but he suggested he talk with him and

" work it out " .

Basically, they are cursed out everyday, humiliated in front of customers

(that's what happened here) and my husband is supposed to go back for more?

They told him yesterday they would give him another chance only b/c they know

his wife is sick (I blew UP at that!!!) and needed the insurance. Pretty stupid

considering I have Medicare and am not on their insurance.

I told him to see a lawyer. And tell the un-employment office, too, maybe

they will jump on the bandwagon and notify the Wage & Labor Board along with us.

So, in spite of that, I have to say I am doing better. I think God is

definitely in on this, otherwise I'd be in a neat little padded room with no

hair left on my head, lol...
