Hey folks,

I have found a place that will do A2 testing.

The cost per animal is $30, if you have over 10 animals. If not, the total

cost is $300, regardless of the number of animals. So, if you had five to test,

it'd be $60 per cow, four to test, $75 per cow.

Anyway, I thought this was no longer available, and am excited I found it.

Rob said it takes 6-8 weeks, but here is the actual form to print and fill out.

Best Wishes!

Instructions: A hair sample is required for A2 testing.  Pull a bunch of

(roughly) 20 tail hairs from the switch of the cow's tail. It's important to

make sure the hairs are pulled out and not cut off, as we're after the hair

root. The hair needs to be fairly clean and also dry, as dung or water can cause

the hair roots to rot in transit. Seal the 20 hairs from each animal in a small

zip-lock bag labeled with the animal's name/tag number or whatever you'd like

the animal identified as. Ship samples with payment to;

Seymour Dairy Inc

7580 Redberg Rd.

Cloverdale, OR 97112

Samples must be accompanied by payment of $30.00 per sample. Make checks out to

Seymour Dairy Inc

($300 minimum required)

Results are typically available in 3-4 wks.
