Guest guest
As most of you know I started my treatment for Stills about 2 month ago. I Started with diklofenak (I use the swedish names dont know what they are called in english) Bamyl and do a switch every week with the bamyl to Trombyl. I felt better for for about 3-4 days. Then I got foodpoisend (We all in the family got sick within 2 hours) After that I seemed to get sicker then I ever been. When I got sick in november last year the fever have been around 38 with spikes 39 but never over that. I had also days without fever. The spikes I had mostly in the afternoons and evnings. And felt pretty good in the mornings. But after the foodthing something has happen. Now I have fever all the time around 38-38,5C. And spikes can come 2-3 times a day with around 40C. I told my doc about this and he added prednisone 20mg/day. I also had some eyedrops because I have devolop some serious eyeproblem during this time. Well after a day on prednisone I felt better for 3 days. Then I got new feverspikes around 40C. And all last week I felt strangewith dizzynez and stuff. On friday I woke up with a so soar throat that I couldnt speak. I Finally got my way to the ER. And the doc there said I got an serious throat-infection. I got antibiotics and felt better yesterday. But this morning I woke up with 40C in fever again and of course a cold. A friend of my told me also that she has notice me going downhill. I wonder why do I feel better for a couple days. Is this just the way of stills? For me it feels like the disease fighting the medicine also? Is that possible? Sorry this been a long message but Im really frustrated and sad. And angry because I have to take a lot of medicine that doesnt work :-S Take care all of you!
