You can still make your own scoby mother and starter!

Hi all!

I decided to try making a " fresh " mother with the new store bought kombucha. I

was curious if the new lighter version would still work. I have always chosen

" High Country " brand (it comes in a brown squatty bottle). I was amazed at how

fast and thick the new scobys developed! Yes, scobys! So far in a little over a

week I have grown 2 beautiful scobys and have started a 3rd in a very

concentrated broth -I used a 16 oz bottle of the " HIgh Country " original and

only 8oz of sweet tea. I just shared one of the new ones with " Deb " here on the

list. So, if you were wondering, you *can* still " grow your own " !
