Hi all,

I've been off line for the past few days this week and oh my goodness! We

have picked up new family members I see and I would like to say welcome. I

look forward to getting to know all of you as friends and family.

I have some crazy family time coming up and this week. We spent the week

with my daughter's father. My daughter, Angi, has not been able to come and

meet him yet but and I spent most of the week with him and it was like

old friends week. Some melancholy times and some apprehensions about the

fact that our son in law did take the Texas job and they will be moving as

soon as they can rent their new house.

I don't think I told you that my mother in law most likely has more cancer

and we will be waiting to hear with her further testing. I've been better

this past couple of weeks about handling the possibilities and will just

wait and do my best with medications, trying not to stress. It does my ulcer

no good!

If you've gotten this far, I have an interesting question and or observation

I have come to this week about my blood pressure and edema. I've noticed

when I fell two weeks ago that they told me at the hospital that my blood

pressure was low again but since I had been having dizzy spells the previous

week I wasn't surprised. I then continued to have some dizzy spells from the

low blood pressure, not why or from my fall, because I can tell the

difference. Then, again this week on Thursday as several times preceding my

edema in the past, I had a day of such total smack down sleepiness, I could

not stay awake. As if I was completely drugged!!! I mean so much so that

when we went to ' doctors appointment I was sleeping all the way there

and back, in the waiting room I was actually drooling (OMG) and couldn't

even stay awake while the doctor was examining for 5 minutes! After we

got home, I continued to sleep through the night as if I was drugged, only

able to wake for a few minutes at a time. The next day, yesterday my edema

started again in earnest. No more sleepiness but the edema. When my blood

pressure was good at a low it is 90/5? When it has been low but I'm awake

and cannot tell it has even been at the doctors many occasions 80/42. My

question is Ta Da! Could my blood pressure be dropping even lower on certain

occasions that I haven't taken it and thus causing these days of beyond

fatigue? I mean, like wasn't the only person with us on Thursday and

the other person was really worried because they saw how bad I was.

My PCP and the Cardiologist have done the total work ups as you know and my

other heart problems have been addressed but for irregular rhythms and the

prolapsed valve to be checked yearly, but neither has seen it alarming

enough to address this low, low pressure issue. I know I'm asking a bit of

medical speculation here but am at wits end and it would be helpful to know

if I might be on track to ask them if this is the cause of my swelling and

these exhaustion days.

Thanks for bearing with me and any help.

Love you guys and missed you and will have a post or two about posting

pictures again to the yahoo site, etc. Not too many though.

Happy weekend,
