So glad that you went and that they caught it. That is a real bummer,

but could have been more devistating.

I am sure that your RD will be notified. As an FYI, since we are prone

to multiple AI disorders, there is a condition where one

has " Cardiolipin antibodies " that causes clots, especially in the

lungs. I have a friend with that condition. Her lungs got full of

clots during her last pregnancy and she had to be treated very

carefully. The pregnancy outcome was wonderful and her baby is now 2

years old. She is a patient of my RD, Pulonologist and Hematologist.

As a matter of fact, we compare the number of " ologists " that we see.

At the moment I am ahead by 1,lol!) She has been on Coumadin since the

preganancy. She loves my doctors as much as I do.

Be careful! And glad to have you home.

about the past 10 days. At times I'd get chest pains, but I put that

off to just more Still's pains... you know how it is. But Friday, I

walked up the stairs and couldn't talk for almost 20 minutes. I

happened to have an oxymeter and it registered 84. Under 90 is not a

good thing from what I understand. So anyway, I decided I should call

the Dr, who told me to go to the ER.

> Once there they did chest xrays, lab work and listened to my

chest...all clear. My RD insisted on a chest CT scan. Thank Goodness

they did that as I have Bilateral Pulminary Embolisms!

Thanks Tom, I'll bring that up to my RD when I go see him this afternoon. He's

really good at researching possibilities. Even came to see me at the hospital!

It sure seems that our bodies got the shallow end of the gene pool huh!

, good to hear you are okay... the Coumadin might be great with the

Still's disease... my sister was on it for a couple years after she had a

blood clot in her lungs, and she nearly froze to death while she was on it.

I'm thinking that might balance out the night sweats!

So glad you are home. *hugs*

Boy I hope you're right! I had to stop Estrogen...so I figure I'll be having

hot flashes on top of the sweats. Chills sound so refreshing!

Loved the pics you posted...you're so cute! Just like your personality!

Now you can see why the moon-face from the prednisone doesn't bother me...

I'm nearly as white as the moon in that pic too! lol

My wee hound has really kept me going on many a day earlier on that

I'd have rather laid in bed and died. She's my baby girl. :) And the cat

Tiggy too... in a more detached sort of 'Hey, stay alive so you can feed me'

feline sort of way. lol

How are you feeling chickie? Better, I hope?

I'm feeling much better. Got my blood thinned out...still get way out of breath

when I walk across the room, but it will take a few weeks for the embolisms that

are in my lungs to dissolve. I'm going back to work for at least part of

today...we'll see how I do.

I know what you mean about the pets. I have 3 kittens (well, they're 9 months

old now) that are the light of my life. Hope you have a great day!
