Guest guest
Don't know what I just did. Are you saying that you do not become MCS until " MSH " and " ACTH " have depleted? And only then would you fail the VCS? I have not been " diagnosed " MCS but I have been for some time. I don't see any C4a testing that has been done in my blood work thus far but supose I will find out soon. Anyway thanks for the explanation, it gives me more to think about. Guest guest
-I haven't taken it. i had several questions about it myself and wondered if with haveing cateracts if it wouldn't work for me anyway. i gathered its about seen contrast, sharp edges which i cant see anyway. i can tell you yes, my vision varys a lot. takes a while in the mornings to focus and even mild affects can make my vision worse, more blurred.and i have adjusted my screen for brightness because it bothers me but sometimes its very hard to read anything. i dont know if your screen would matter much on the test but could see haveing different results based on how well your eyes are focusing at the time. I already know that the cateracts removel is not going to slove all my vision problems, two seperate things going on, but it well help me to see better on the left side. my right eye can go from almost normal vision to blurry unfocused seeing 2,3, and sometimes 4 of everything and my perspective of how close or far something is is messed up.-- In , " unitedstatesvet " <unitedstatesvet@...> wrote: > > I was wondering what some of you thought about this. Guest guest
To UnitedStatesVet: Even though you passed the VCS test, it does not mean you were not exposed and that your vision is not affected. To be " positive " (or abnormal) on the test, the score is set very high. This means that the Positive Predictive Value is very high, which is what is the probability that the patient has the condition if the test is positive. On the other hand, the Negative Predictive Value will be lower, which means that you can pass the test, but your vision (and optic nerve) is still affected, just not enough to be considered positive. erikmoldwarrior <erikmoldwarrior@...> wrote: " unitedstatesvet " <unitedstatesvet@...> wrote: > > I was wondering what some of you thought about this.
