Guest guest
Dear , Sorry I don't have an answer - maybe this is useful about colour http://www.enzymestuff.com/rtstools.htm Antibiotics can be very, very effective - but things can come back very fast. You can maybe think of it like weeding. If I remember right, Boulardii colonises for a few days the leaves. Starting at 2 Boulardii per day is a lot if you have not used it before. Best wishes, Sandy > > For anyone who can give me some advice re stools and has the patience to read my long post I'd really appreciate your input. > We recently did two weeks of Metronidazol as we encountered severe green/foul smelling diarrhea off and on for two months and were unable to clear it. We decided to go with the MD and after one week I noted jumpy behaviour which I gathered was yeast. I added the prescribed diflucan but the behaviour was still there after a week when we started a 7 day break. I normally give 2 x culterelle and 1 x candex morning and night however on the week one break I added 1 x saccharomyces boulardii morning and night as well. The jumpy behaviour went away after four days but yellow mushy stools appeared and then diarrhea. > During taking the MD for two weeks we had a four day clean out with so many stools I lost count of them. Then his stools became perfect in form, colour and smell. He was also going two to three times a day and on the toilet! Now, as I said in the one week break he has gone back to diarrhea but it's not green, it is yellow and not great smelling but not foul smelling stools. > So my question is, is this likely because I added the sacc b, did I give too much? should I back off? or is it because the bacteria is coming back? We are due to start the second course of MD and diflucan tomorrow. > I should also add that so far with the MD there have only been continued improvements in his behaviour with lots of one syllable words. He's getting more and more verbal, it's great and we are still giving max dose of Enhansa. > OK, sorry for such a long post but any advice would be appreciated. > Thanks, > >
Guest guest
Hi Sometimes stools can be a strange colour due to the lack of good bacteria, which might be the case after using flagyl. Owens from the oxalates list posted the below link recently. http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1426402 Kenny > > > > > > For anyone who can give me some advice re stools and has the patience to read my long post I'd really appreciate your input. > > > We recently did two weeks of Metronidazol as we encountered severe green/foul smelling diarrhea off and on for two months and were unable to clear it.
