Barbara,

Thank you so much for your response and empathy. It sounds like you have

struggled even more years than I. My husband has struggled with a combination

of anxiety and depression since his younger years--your message reminded me of

the guilt he has wrestled with(and continues to wrestle with) all these years.

This is my hope for my child--perhaps, if nothing else, she will not have to

suffer guilt for having OCD and any other things that come with it. A difficult

road ahead, yes--but maybe paved with more tools and opportunities than the road

my husband traveled as a child. And continues to travel--as I know my daughter

will, too. And yes, even now as you join a new community of support and

education, you add possibilities to the roadmap for yourself and your son...
