Guest guest Posted December 30, 2001 Report Share Posted December 30, 2001 Hi Judy, My 8 yr. old son has AD/HD, OCD and some SID symptoms. Back before he started SSRI " S getting ready in the morning was my worst nightmare because of clothing issues, most especially socks and shoes. Periodically, these " itchy " feelings would return along with a major waxing of his OCD symptoms. Over time, it became clear that a pattern was emerging, and once he would start to have life interfering SID symptoms, I had better get in contact with the Dr. quickly or things would definitely begin to fall apart rapidly. We are currently up to 55mgs. of Prozac, adding in the latest 10mg. (and backing down 5 because of BSE's) in November.
