Guest guest Posted April 11, 2007 Report Share Posted April 11, 2007 Well, we got back home late Sunday night. Wow! What a trip. Olivia was finally able to see the ocean and put her toes in the sand. The beaches in the Bahamas are like no others that I have been to. Liv and I were able to swim with a dolphin named " Andy " , and it was an experience of a lifetime for both of us! I'll post pics of Andy and Liv, later. I am still reeling from both trips. We really had a great time! Olivia was a little aprehensive to get into the ocean at first, but by the middle of the day, she had faced her fears and didnt want to get out. I put her and her best friend on the little raft, and would swim as far as I could out into the ocean. They were petrified in the beginning, but by afternoon they were asking me to do it again....And, they wanted to go further out, each time. They were really brave. I was so proud of them, for facing their fears. I couldnt blame them for being scared though, because I was also scared. That movie " Jaws " really did a number on me. Anyway, I want to take her snorkeling next time. My brother and I want to plan a family trip to Mexico, real soon. I missed you all, and am glad to back. Hope everyone is doing great.
