a,

Thank you for your feedback. Everyone's input on this who has had or is

having these treatments help. Stay in touch and let us know how this goes.

I developed MCS following a severe mold exposure in 2001 and am

currently on a desensitization program etc. I want to tell you about

my incredible HBOT story.

Last November I had a perfume exposure that knocked me for a loop;

lost 6 weeks of work; and left me with severe total body pain 24/7

which is so very debilitating and exhausting; and increased

sensitivity to triggers.

In April, I requested a trial of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (after

reading research material on a variety of subjects including

strokes). To make a long story short, I had 3 - 1 hour sessions a

day apart. And to my amazement and delight, the pain started easing

off during the first treatment, and was totally gone after the third

treatment, and lasted for six weeks! YEAH! I also felt generally

better, with improved concentration, stamina, etc. but the pain

relief was so unexpected and a very welcome change.

Because there is so little available research, I want to share my

story with you. If others have the horrible pain, please give

yourself the opportunity to at least try HBOT.

The cost of treatment was $100.00 per 'dive'- a one-hour session.

Best wishes to all. I am not able to check my messages regularly,

but will be interested if others try HBOT and if it affects their

pain status.
