Guest guest
That sounds encouraging. I'll see how ERP works without it, but add bribery when or if needed. JUdy Re: S.I. and meds again FWIW, we've recently had a success with bribery with my son, Ian (10) and his SID issues around his socks and shoes. In the last 6 months, he's outgrown his seamless socks and switched to tie shoes from the Velcro ones he'd worked with in erp therapy so we were back to mornings in hell. My husband, who usually stays out of these issues, offered him $20 if he could manage his own shoes and socks without complaint or assistance for a week. To my amazement, it worked! We had tried money incentives in the past as part of erp therapy with no luck. I'm guessing it worked this time because the offer came from Dad. I'm hoping this success will motivate both of them! My heartfelt sympathy and best wishes go out to you, I am so familiar with your battles! C in TX S.I. and meds again Well then, I sure won't spend the time and money on the OT version of therapy. I'm wondering whether bribery and/or ERP might be effective. I guess I will try them both. Judy
