Soft Soap, - was Re: Re: Loofah soap

Hi ,

I made a soft soap a few months ago, lovely stuff. I used a mix of

sodium and potassium hydroxide. I got the formula off the TLC site (Rita

Scheu's). I *think*, but am not sure, that this might be the 'Ice cream

soap' that I've seen mentioned elsewhere.

The soap is not liquid, nor is it a hard bar. Mine came out very thick,

but creamy. You can scoop it out of the container with your fingers. I

use one of those nylon bath scrubbies and it lathers up really well. It

makes a great face soap.
