AID=/20060919/NEWS04/60919013 ville Star News - ville,TN The discovery of mold in a vacant office in the basement of Labry Hall at Cumberland University has led officials to close the building, which is home to the Labry School of Business and Economics. School officials said today that classes regularly held in Labry Hall will be relocated to other locations on campus. According to Cumberland University President Dr. Harvill C. Eaton, officials at the university discovered the mold in its early stages and decided to close the facility as a safety precaution. The facility was inspected this afternoon by university-hired environmental experts, who estimate the analysis and remediation process will take approximately three weeks. Labry hall was built in 2002. It incorporated portions of Cumberland University's old gymnasium, which was built in 1936.
