Hi Everyone,

It has been a very long time since I posted but I wanted to give

everyone an update on . will be 3 in August.

was in a PCP jacket for 10 months. She was taken out of her

last one in May of 2006. was then placed in a brace for six

months. Her numbers at that time were COBB - 10 degrees out of brace

and 5 degrees in brace. RVAD was still 15 degrees. went to

Erie after six months to discover her COBB now measured 14 degrees

out of brace but RVAD had dropped to 4 degrees. was then

placed back in a brace for another six months. I am thrilled to say

that last week we went to Erie to get terrific news.

We had 2 xrays taken - one laying down and one standing. I believed

it was time for a true picture. Laying down, is straight.

Wahoo!! Standing, 's COBB measures 6 degrees, RVAD of 1

degree. We are now brace free.

I am going to quietly hold my breath for the next year and pray that

she stays nice and straight. I wanted to update everyone so that you

know this is the answer. It seems like a tough road while travelling

it but so worth the end.

Everyone on this group has given me so much. The support, the

knowledge, the direction, the kindness. I am eternally gratefully to

Dr. Mehta and . We are all so very lucky to have found both

of them. Erie, as well. What a wonderful place.

I keep all the children in my prayers. Stay the course everyone!!

Gratefully,

Annie Nason
