Guest guest
Does anyone on the list have any experience with using power chutes to increase running speed in an athlete? Any validity to the resistance and overspeed training that goes along with this training device? -- Gerald Lafon ****************************************** * Judo America San Diego * * Email: glafon@... * * Web: http://www.judoamerica.com * * Phone: (619) 232-JUDO * ******************************************
Guest guest
I think that you need to becareful with these devices to make sure you are not going to injure your athlete. A power chute is a tricky device. What if the wind is blowing across? This can really shock a runner in terms of knocking one off his/her normal path in the sprint. A sound sprint program should be a safe program. Dan Fichter Rochester NY > Does anyone on the list have any experience with using power chutes > to increase running speed in an athlete?
