Guest guest
Regarding bathroom issues, just wanted to add my 2 cents that everyone is different when it comes to the " bathroom " or modesty, things like that. Luckily we live close to all our schools here, practically within walking distance really. None of my kids will poop at school. I can't count the number of times that one of my kids has checked out of school with an " upset stomach " just to come home and use the bathroom and then go back. Since we live with grandma, she's gone to get them and take them back. It's not a regular thing but my oldest (16) has done it far more than the others. (Actually I think the only other times was twice and once.) Heck, I never " taught " them, but I'm like that myself; don't do anything but pee if I'm not at home. And for whoever mentioned " camp " I can remember WAY BACK to girl scouts camp. I'd be constipated by the time the camp out was over as I wouldn't go poop in the outhouses either. And having been in the bathrooms at some of their schools, I'm surprised they'll pee. Especially the boys' bathroom where some miss the commode/urinal (on purpose according to my oldest) - the stench is terrible at times. Plus, 5th/6th grade was around the time each of my kids were hearing the " if you look at someone, you're gay " bit in the restroom). (OK, when the kids were younger and at school functions, I HAD to go in the restroom with them, that's how I know about the boys! And in middle school I looked in one during some event as I couldn't believe it when Rand said there were no stall doors tho they have them now. Plus when my oldest was in 8th grade, he slipped in the restroom and fell in " water/pee " puddle and was actually SOAKED. One nice teacher let him call me at work for a change of clothes after he'd put on his PE clothes; the stench of those clothes was terrible!)
