If golden shea is not shea, then what is it? I bought shea butter last year that is a very dark golden yellow color - it feels and behaves like shea butter. Or are you talking about something altogether different? Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi There are several different kinds of shea butter, the golden one comes from Ghana, and the ultra refined one has been treated in Italy, and is usually almost white and fluffy. The country of origin is deemed to be the last country in which a significant change took place to the product. Ive also seen shea butter grey and greasy, it depends entirely on how it was treated. mary Well, Naturally http://www.wellnaturally.com At 01:33 AM 10/23/2004, you wrote: >Hi Dolores, >Hope you don't mind my saying this, but golden shea butter is not shea >butter at all...gets confusing does'nt it ? > >Hugs and blessings, joey. > babassu oil > > > > > > > > > > Hello Anyone know where I can get Babassu OIl and Virgin Coconut and > > a really nice unrefined shea butter....not the one thats dark with > > lots of specks of dirt but a golden yellow one. thankyou very much > > dolores > > > > > > >
