Guest guest
Hi Tasha, I was just looking at some pictures and noticed the new pictures you have of . Max is also in his 4 th cast and does not have anything over his shoulders, except those plastic straps. Max loves this cast as well. When he wears a shirt you would never know he has a cast. He's starting to climb on everything now. Max hated getting his cast cut off the first time (mind you he was woken after just falling asleep. Imagine waking to having five people over you and holding you down!) But after the 2nd time he did much better. They cut it off from his back.He was on his stomach. He didn't see the machine and only me. So the loud sound didn't seem so bad. How are things going with Shriners? Did you get an appointment? Did you mention 'll be in this cast awhile? Max's 4 week post-op is April 6. Actually turns out to be 5 weeks. I'm sure they have his next cast change in May sometime. Aekta
Guest guest
Hi Aekta, As of today I am STILL waiting on ish Rite to send me 's Xrays from this last cast change. I am getting a little upset with them, but what can I do. Once I get those I will overnight everything to Erie and they will take a look and decide what we should do next. I am not very patient when it comes to stuff like this...........I want to get it all going. ASAP! Anyway, is loving this cast. Same with ..........most people who are use to seeing him with the old cast, ask me if he is done. They can't even tell he has one on this time. He too is so much more active. He climbs and does things I have never seen him do before. It is GREAT to see!!! His next cast change at ish Rite will be May 31st. I sure hope we get in to Erie before then. Glad to hear little Max is doing well. And loving his new cast. It sure makes it easier for Mom and Dad when they are HAPPY!!! I can't get over how gentle the casting process is.............anyone reading this that may be new and about to deal with the 1st cast. Relax.........your child will do wonderful!! Take care Aekta.
