OT lavender in food

i sent this a couple of days ago but it hasn't made it on to the

list...trying again (apologies if it repeats!)...

hi shucky - thanks for the info on blogging, learn something new everyday!

my limeade recipe is based on a recipe from

which i altered to my taste (less sugar, more water).

the cheesecake and crumble recipes are my creations though! in the

cheesecake i use 1t of ground lavender in the creamcheese part of the

recipe and 21/2t in the rhubarb (also from the garden) topping, none in

the crust. it's not at all overpowering at this amount. i use 1T of

ground lavender in the fruit part of my crumble/crisps and that seems to

be fine too.
