Guest guest
The advantages of the Body Bar is that you can do more "free range" exercises with them without the bulk of the weighted plates being in the way. You can do the Body Bar workouts with the Body Bar, and I hear they are very good and challenging. It is nice to have the bars ready to go without having to make adjustments. Most workouts though don't require a body bar, and I prefer the traditional barbell because you can get the weight more to the exact amount you want. Plus for Body Bar workouts you might need 3 bars to be adequately challenged and I prefer to just have one adjustable bar. Hope that makes sense!nancydewolf wrote: Okay... that helps but next question focuses on function. I know what to do with barbells but have not heard of body bars so I'm trying to picture what you do with them and I don't know how they're different, functionally, from barbells. If there's any clips on collage or elsewhere that have body bars in them I'd appreciate knowing so I can actually see how they're used. Thanks!!
