Guest guest
I love this one too! That and the cardio tape is my favorite of all the Firms I've done so far! It's just a nice balance of exercises. While I grumble sometimes about the robotic personalities of the Firm instructors and the dippy to the max backgrounds, I really do like these workouts a LOT. You are never bored with a Firm workout. I never know what's coming next! Gym workouts are more like the Ripped series, and more predictable. Last night I took Speed Round (half hour version of Turbo Kick) at the gym and then S.E.T. - Strenght Endurance Training. It's a tough class and I'm sore. I believe it's a workout they do on the Biggest Loser, as 24 Hour Fitness is a sponsor of that show, or at least was in seasons past. For SET you do around 4 minutes of an exercise with a barbell, then an endurance/cardio sculpt drill with lighter dumbells. I like this class and am sore from it, but I still like Body Pump (Ripped is very similar to Body Pump in design) the best and overall prefer my home workout videos for strength training. I've done the 3 mile bridge walk every work day this week and will do so again today for a weekly total of 15 miles and approximately 1,500 calories. Good thing too, what with all the xmas goodies I've been noshing on here at the office! fitgrl222@... wrote: Hi, This morning I did Maximum Body Shaping (aka Maximum Body Sculpting, aka All-Weights) I have the Tri-Trainers All Weights version (aren't they all the same anyway?) gee whiz!! This workout is nice because you can go as heavy or as light as you want. I used 12's, 20's, and 30's. So I went as heavy as I could on most everything. Traci Long is my favorite instructor of all the Firm workouts! I wished I would've wore my heart rate monitor because moving from exercise to exercise, my heart rate stayed fairly elevated throughout the workout.. We got close to 10 inches of snow coming. ugh.
