Guest guest
Hi Mara! The 10 Minute Solution dvd's are fun! I normally do the entire workout in one standing, but if you're short on time or working a specific body part that day you can use just what you want. If you're referring to other 10 minute workouts, why not string 5 of them together? You can use the cardio one as a warmup, 5 strength ones, and cooldown yourself with some stretches. Ross Dress for Less has lots of good workout dvd's for cheap. I'd start with Jari Love's Ripped series - you can get the first 4 of them there (there are 5 total). If you see anything by the Firm or Crunch there I'd pick those up too. They have yoga mats there right now and I suggest you get one of those too. Hope this helps! Guest guest
i like to mix and match when i am in a rut. i also have alot of ten minute ones for when i have short on time days, but essentially you do need more on a consistent basis. 10 mins solutions and others like it are great for add-ons. i usually try to do two workout sessions. one cardio or weights then another with pilates/yoga/stretch. but in addition to toning up and losing body fat eating habits are 85% of the equation so no matter how long you workout you have to have good habits to support those changes(which is hard for me to preach considering i have gone crazy at xmas parties this past week LOL).as laura has suggested ross is a kick ass place to find workouts dirt cheap. also join netflix and give workouts there a try(believe me it has saved me a bundle on buying workouts i wouldn't like otherwise). it also gives you chance to see what clicks with you to make better purchases. i shop online mostly b/c they just don't sell my kind of vids in the store but alot of workouts have come from ross and use spend under $10. they carry some equipment like balls, mats, and light weights. other weights and medicine balls i get at play it again sports b/c they sell gently used stuff at a bargain deal. thrift stores will have harder to find gems from equipment to videos. i like cheesy old videos like buns of steel so i always grab them up when i can. kassiaPink Pussycat wrote: Hi Mara!
