It just occurred to me -- duh -- if I want to eat less calories I could eat 5 meals instead of 6. How many do you guys eat? Anything wrong with my thinking here? Guest guest Posted June 24, 2006 Report Share Posted June 24, 2006 Well, there's the thermic effect of food. Every time you eat, your metabolism increases (especially when you eat protein). So if two women are eating the same number of calories per day, but one of them eats in in 3 meals and one of them eats it in 7 meals, the one eating 7 times a day will have the faster metabolism and the better fat loss. That said, sometimes I only eat 3-4 meals a day. Sometimes I eat 7. Usually 5-6. Do whatever works best for you.
