Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have to make this short since we're going out trick or treating shortly - and we spent a big chunk of the day at the pumpkin patch on a field trip. Anyway, my new Amy Bento's arrived yesterday - I wasn't even expecting them! I only ordered Hi/Lo Dome and Slo Mo. Since today was cardio I did Hi/Lo Dome. I did the " Quick NRG " pre-mix as I didn't want to overwhelm myself by learning too much choreography at once. This pre-mix is 46 min including warm-up and cool down/stretch. It contains combo 1, interval 1, combo 3, interval 3, combo 4, interval 4 - so all I have to learn now is combo 2 ad interval 2. I was pleasantly surprised that this workout was do-able in terms of choreography for me and, even though the clip on Collage Video seemed to indicate it was a space hog, I was able to get it done in my limited space - sometimes I backed myself into a wall or a corner but it wasn't too bad. I'm looking forward to trying the whole Hi/Lo part sometime soon. The music is loud on this one and that is a drawback for me b/c I workout with the volume turned down very low (my area is below 's room) so sometimes it was hard to hear the cueing over the music. Someday I'll appreciate it, I'm sure. There are 6 pre-mixes of varying lengths - one options is intervals only for 27 min. So, really something for every schedule on this DVD! YAY! I was a bit disappointed in the BOSU workout - which I added on to the Quick NRG workout. It is only 22 minutes long and is more of an add-on than a comprehensive workout. Still, I did enjoy it for different ideas on how to make use of my BOSU. The leg work is hard - especially going into it pre-fatigued from the cardio. Amy and one of her backgrounders use this " woody bag " thing - not sure what it is - but the other backgrounder uses a dumbell and a step. Since I was just learning, and I was pre-fatigued I omitted weights. Okay - off to trick or treat now! is a bunny and I'm going to be a cat. (easy costume, headband ears and a little make-up for whiskers...) I did get myself a prize today - I picked up Tae Bo Amped at Borders, I had a 30% off coupon, so it was only $29 and change with tax. I may do one or two of these workouts for the rest of my week before starting P90X on Sunday! Take care, Donna __________________________________________________
