Guest guest
Hi ! I'm sorry for resorting to acronyms - I usually am acronym challenged on this board (but feel so smug once I know what they mean and can toss them around like the next person YCFE is " Yoga Complete for Everybody " and is put out by Body Wisdom. There are dozens of workouts taken from a big pool of poses - in other words, the " Downdog " pose section for one yoga practice will probably be the same downdog snippet used in another practice. Still, each practice is unique and some of them have snippets ONLY used in that practice, and it's fun to discover the unique ones. There are lots of beginning, intermediate and advanced workouts in each one. The ones I have are: Yoga Complete for Everybody Yoga Complete for Weight Loss Yoga for Inflexible People (great practices but sloppily recorded) Yoga Complete for Athletes (sports specific but you can do any of them really) I also have quite a few of the pilates ones but haven't done as many though I'm impressed with the Pilates Sculpt & Tone one I've been doing and watching during this vacation. The yoga practices aren't necessarily as cardio driven as other yoga practices and are SUPERB for stretching. At times I get sick of power yoga/ ashtanga practices that have 20+ minutes of sun salutations and that is a huge selling point for me with the Body Wisdom series. Hope this helps! Do pick them up if you see them cheap somehwhere! If I could only have one it would be YCFE or YCFWL. Namaste,
