I really like living in the " high rent district " and I bet if you just take yourself in hand and tell yourself you are going to do it and like it (or else), you'll end up loving the benefits so much that eventually you couldn't imagine not working out.

I've spent enough time in the ghetto...I wanna live out the rest of my days on Park Place!

Now, ladies, the photos are up, but I have to warn you about a couple

of things: The pics are topless because at bodyshaping they want to

show your midsection. The pics are also kind of hot (according to my

wife), so you might want to make sure your husbands/SO's aren't around

when you look. ;-)

Also the " after " pics were taken right after a workout, so just ignore

the sweat on the front of my shorts which rolled off my chest.

For those who were wondering, this bodyshaping course was taught at my

martial arts school. It's a 10-week course that includes cardio

kickboxing and resistance training. You work out and follow the meal

plan for 6 days a week and if you do, you earn the " play day " on

Sunday which is when you get to eat whatever you want and as much as

you want.

(The course was based on the Ultimate Bodyshaping Course, which our

school used to offer but then modified. You can go to

I really needed a jump start to my fitness plan because over the

summer we did a lot more traveling than usual and I needed to get back

in shape. At one point this summer I reached the highest weight I

ever had in my life--190 lbs and 26% body fat. I felt awful. Doing

DVDs at home only got me back down around 180 and I knew I could do

better. My wife signed me up for this body shaping course as a

Christmas gift. You can see the results. I'm around 167 lbs and 20%

body fat right now.

Dawn has been doing okay fitness-wise. She's still struggling with

health issues, but some things have improved. She's getting

accupuncture which seems to be helping somewhat with her migraines and

her sensitivity to the smells which trigger her migraines. She still

has the headaches, but she's definitely better than she was 2 months

ago. She has to go back to Mayo Clinic in January for some other

issues, so there's still a lot of work to be done.

Excellent progress!

Glad to hear that Dawn is doing okay fitness wise despite her struggle with

health issues.

Good luck to you both when you have to go back to the Mayo clinic in

January.
