Help getting over chickenpox

Does anyone have any good ideas what to do to help my 9 year old son

get over the effects of chickenpox?

I'm concerned as although his spots are clearing up nicely, his OCD and

oppositional behaviour has come back big time and we have red ears and

cheeks again this evening. He's also still got diarrhoea – funny coz

its not unpleasant poo, just chocolate sauce really (soz if you're

eating!!) The worst is he is so compelled to do stuff even though he

knows its wrong - deleted the whole of my desktop in order to make it

look like the windows XP set-up desktop apparently, then brought it to

me with a sheepish look on his face...

We have Valtrex to start, but I'm concerned about starting when his

bowel is all over the place. Should I be?

Thanks for any insight,

Sharon
