Guest guest
Well, I'll try and be brief! In a nutshell, I weighed 235 lbs at 5'5". A friend of mine got me to join a gym and I was bored on the machines, but saw people doing TK in the GX room and I was entranced. People were having FUN, but the workout looked very hard to me. This was when they were doing Round 5 - Round 32 comes out at the end of January, so this was around 6-7 years ago! I started out slow but by the end of Round 6 (the next routine that came out, they do it for 6-8 weeks so you get a chance to get good at it and they add on different layers of complexity each week depending on the class' progress with the material) I was going 4-5 times a week. I was HOOKED.This was when PBP was a smaller operation. I emailed Chalene personally, as I was completely obsessed with Turbo Kick. She encouraged me to get certified, and so I did! IBecause I started the Turbo Kick Fanatics, a group much like this one, she joined and and I kind of became the "go-to person" for TK trivia and questions. I got a minor job answering the questions that come off the Turbo Kick website, and occasionally I've helped edit choreography and I also edited the PiYo manual. I am very, very briefly in the Turbo Jam infomercial. My voice is recorded on the Round 15 cd.. and that pretty much sums up my involvement with PBP!I really love it! Chalene is the most magical person I've ever met and if it weren't for her I never would have become an aerobics instructor!Hugs!mrsmumsiebear wrote: So how did you start working for her?
