Guest guest
If you may have fungal infection, avoid sugars. More specifically, good to follow anti-mold and anti-toxin diet, at mold-survivors.com/diet If that isn't correct link, write me directly for address. --- felice <anupath14@...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > I am seeing Dr. Shoemaker for the first time > next week hoping he can help me with my MCS > which
Guest guest
felice, Did you consider Dallas Environmental Clinic? They really specialize in MCS. However maybe Dr Shoe will be helpful. If not, you could call them and ask them to send you their packette of information to look over. --- felice <anupath14@...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > I am seeing Dr. Shoemaker for the first time > next week hoping he can help me with my MCS > which has gotten severe. Guest guest
Felice, I'm not sure that Dr.Shoemaker will start you off right away with the Actos. Normally each patient starts off with Cholestyramine and then he gears the protocol towards your needs. As far as the Actos and diet, I just mentioned this to him the other day (because I was getting ready to start the Actos) his comment was to be on and to completely understand the No-Amylose Diet. Which is mentioned in several of his books and I'm sure he will explain it to you when you visit him. If you are going to be doing his protocol I would highly suggest following is diet as well, they go hand and hand. I would strongly recommend you get his book(s) they will explain and answer alot of your questions. He does have them in his office. I also have severe MCS, but the actos is to help with the inflammation markers, which in turn " hopefully " will help the chemical sensitivity. Guest guest
don't give up everything at once. detoxing and withdrawal can be pretty severe. bbw <barb1283@...> wrote: If you may have fungal infection, avoid sugars. Guest guest
I may be wrong but it seems like I remember in Dr. Shoemaker's book that the actos is not for people that are very thin. I just remember that because I figured that I can't take it since I am so small. Coffee probably is not on the diet but it helps me with migranes. When I start the vomiting usually coffee is what brings me out of it. > > > > Hi everyone, > > I am seeing Dr. Shoemaker for the first time next week hoping he > can help me with my MCS which has gotten severe. Guest guest
Hi Felice, I've been a patient of Dr. Shoemaker's for over two yrs. I also am a teacher but was not able to return to my school. I never had any problems with foods but we are all different! I was very sick and don't know where I would be without the good Dr. I feel so much better unless I get an exposure someplace and then I'm in bed for a few days and doubling my CSM. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Shoemaker. Hope he can help you abd wish you all the best. Feel free to contact me anytime! Sue Hi everyone, I am seeing Dr. Shoemaker for the first time next week hoping he can help me with my MCS which has gotten severe. My world is getting smaller and smaller. I'm a teacher with only 2 years to retirement but fear I wont be able to go back to work. Any of you had experience with Actos?? sounds like a serious drug. Even short term tho?? Also, what particular foods do you guys suggest I stay away from in general. Hope coffee isn't one of them. Artificial sweeteners? Sugars? Vinegar? fruits? Anything else you know of? I've tried some things but, as you probably know, it's difficult. I've eliminated breads ages ago. thank you all for being there.
