Ernie,

Welcome to the group! I am kind of new myself, as I have been chatting and picking the brains of the members of this group for about 4-5 mnths now, your right, they are an invaluable service to all of us! I would be nowhere without them as my Docs have given very little direction on this. Just wanted to say welcome and to encourage you to ask all the questions you have and take advantage of the wonderful moms and dads that will help get you to the finish line as past members have!

Take Care and hope to hear your updates!

Ernie,

I'm glad that you've gotten to the point where you at least feel educated

about your son's condition. That will make it a little easier as you try to

decide what to do next. Whatever you decide you will have the support and

encouragement of this group. I hope you will stick with us and let us know

which way you decide to go.

Best of luck!

Subject: Thank you all!

I have been a member of this group less than a week and I've already seen an outpouring of support like nothing I've ever seen. You'll never know how much your "honest" opinions have helped my wife and I deal with something we knew absolutely nothing about. To be honest, we're no closer to making a decision now, than we were a week ago. But I can say with certainty, that I'm a great deal more knowledgeable and comfortable about my son's condition because of this group.I hope no one in the group loses sight of the wonderful service, and I want to stress the word service, you provide to uneducated parents like me. As I've said before, this group is a god send.Ernie in Tucson AZ(Daddy to Seastian)For more plagio info

Anne,

I'm so glad that you are doing at least a little bit better. I will be hoping

for your speedy recovery.

Hooray for Livia!! She will be running before you know it - then she will be

hard to catch!! How smart of her to figure out the velcro thing - hope it

doesn't cause too much trouble!!

Glad to have you back with us!

Subject: THANK YOU ALL!

Thanks for all of your thoughts and wishes. I am slowly on the mend. I still have to see an ortho,

but I am starting to walk a bit. Judging by how my knee looks(sort of twisted?) I will probably need

surgery or some sort of treatment to try and correct the damage. I will keep ya all posted.

BTW: Livia is officially walking! She can now go across the whole room without falling down.

She can sort of run(funny to see!) and guess what? She can undo the velcro on her band!

That should make life more difficult! Now I get to chase her around(Ha Ha Ha more like hobble!)

trying to keep her diaper and band on! Her diapers have velcro too! My knee brace also has velcro,

which is how she discovered it in the first place. I could just see her little gears turning when she

ripped the strap on my brace. she was probably thinking: hey. that sounds familiar! then reaches

up and opens her band! What a turkey! she is too smart for her own good!

I apoligize for not reading most of the posts in the last week. I would be here forever if I did. I hope I

don't miss anything crucial or important. If there is new members, Hi and Welcome! I also hope that

all surgeries and castings etc. went well.

I'm so glad to hear your knee is doing a little better. You poor

thing. And congrats to Livia walking, look out world! That's funny

how she discovered her velcro on her band. Hehe, what fun!!!!

Glad you're doing better. Try to keep off your leg as much as

possible (not easy with a walking baby, I know!!!).

Anne,

I cringe when I think how much pain your in, I'm sorry. Those

kind of falls are difficult and really annoying. My ankle used to

give way for no reason but never as bad as your knee.

Mackenzie too the band of in the car on the way home fron CT and

never stopped till I put a big elastic band around the velco and made

a double loop and used it to stop the velco opening without moving

the elastic. She was 13mths when we started treatment.

Good Luck Lorraine.

Hi Jonna,

Your right it is a great group. So many helpful people here.

Glad to hear your getting the metals out of your mouth! Since you

dont have an appt til feb I would take this time to get your body to

detox as much metal as you SAFELY can. There are a few things which

can really help you to remove heavy metals from the body.

www.betterhealthguy.com is a good place to look for natural chelation

supplements. There is also a suppository which I hear is super

powerful i havent tried it yet.

Once you get the metal out id recommend getting those root canals

out. If you decide to do it get one root canal extracted at a time.

If you really think your body is strong enough get two extracted but

be ready to feel horrible afterwards. The IV vitamin C will combat

that feeling quite a bit. Just read my previous posts from the past

week or so.

Good luck!
