Guest guest
.... about starting the program on Free Day? :-) Till I get my bearings? And the right groceries? Working at the gym sure is motivation to do what they do.... at least if the guys are any kind of yardstick. Yesterday was my first day there and the only women who came in, came to use the tanning bed. The girl who came on duty after me, though, who is the assistant manager, sure looks great. Smooth, flat muscles, no bulk, no belly. And probably 25 years younger than me... It wasn't a free day exercise-wise, though. I'm running a marathon next weekend and had one more 10-miler to run. This week I just have one easy short run, two swims, and a 30-mile bike ride. However, when I do a run in the 10-mile range or more, I get hungrier, more often, for the next 24 hours or so. Even so, I'm overweight (fat, not muscle) by about 15 pounds. I'd love to lose that. Hoping this dietary change will tip the balance. I'm definitely not one of those folks who " just runs it all off anyway. " I gain easy and lose hard. E!!ie http://elliesjourneys.blogspot.com " Just give me a finish line and show me the way.
