Guest guest
Happy Monday everyone!! This morning I did the first workout of Cathe's 4 Day Split. I must say the step combos were a bit tricky, but I think a couple more times of doing it and I should have it pat down. The cardio was just enough and I was happy that it was under 30 minutes. Even though I fumbled on the combos I was actually surprised that the cardio section wasn't any harder than what it was. When I hear high intensity in any Cathe workout, I'm thinking its going to be super tough... this wasn't. I was able to transition to the weight section pretty well. I could've gone heavier on a few of the exercises. Here is the breakdown of the weight section. Round #1 Superman's/One arm rows- 24 lb (could've gone heavier) pushups- on my toes YAY! one arm rows- 28 lb (still could've gone heavier) pushups- knee's (she does the low ends here and those burn so I couldn't do them on my toes) Round #2 Barbell rows- 45 lb (could've gone heavier) dumb bell fly's- 20 lb bar bell rows- 45 lb inclined dumb bell fly's- 20 lb Round #3 one arm rows- 28 lb pushups- toes Round #4 incline pullovers- 15 lb (could've gone heavier for sure here) incline press- 20 lb Round #5 T-band fly's- I gave away my band to my DD and I hadn't bought another one but I did have tubing (the ones with the handles) those actually worked better than the band so I may not even end up buying one at all.) pushups around the clock- I didn't have the room to go all the way around so I just went side to side. I was still able to do them on my toes. This was a really fun!! Cathe really outdone herself with this set. I can hardly wait to try the next workout. I was so happy that the cardio wasn't any harder than what it was. It makes going into the weights a lot easier without feeling totally wiped out. Oh and I burned 473 calories. )) Have a great day!
