Guest guest
Hi all..I am just starting to get back in shape after having my third son and want to do Body for Life. My question is whether or not I should get the Body for Life Book or the Women's Body for Life book. I have heard mixed reviews about the women's book--some say it is a bit watered down. Any opinions? Thanks! in polis
Guest guest
Get the original book by Bill . You'll need it to understand the basics of the program. The women's knock-off version has some nice motivational stuff but she muddles up the basics to such a degree that you'd have difficulty getting serious results if that's all you were going by. For example, she doesn't give you a clear-cut workout to follow, just a bunch of exercise examples. > Hi all..I am just starting to get back in shape after having my third > son and want to do Body for Life. Guest guest
I have to laugh as I bought a book similar to this one for my twins (HFA) and tried to go over it with them. The book totally disappeared very quickly! (To this day, I still don't know where it went but I suspect the trash.) They HATE talking about their bodies, or medicine or even thoughts, but they've learned how to handle necessities pretty well. The advice to try the pantyliners early was good. Wish I'd thought of it beforehand. Guest guest
my missy is of the same way. she also will proudly announce if she has passed gas or other such things as this and is of ever so proud to annouce them. Another real issues is her sensory to wear pants up on her hips and so often she is of exposing haf her bottom now with intent to do like teens but is of simily tring to adapt to the sensory issues and creates a more huger social mistake of showing half her behind off and the kids tease of her and share they see of the bottom and so they will say they see a coin slot and things of this to her. I to just walk over and often pull her pants up and she will give of me that sensory violation look and tug then back down off her hips. life with our kids can be of much interesting LOL/ sondra
