Hi Olif, I don't know where you live but we had our ducts cleaned by a

company in Crofton, MD. They sent 4 guys, spent 5 hrs. in our house, and did an

EXCELLENT job. They came highly recommended by a mold inspector that I trust

completely!! They also do cleaning for hospitals in the area. They brushed all

the ducts and sealed everything as they cleaned. Then brushed again. All vent

covers were air brushed then cleaned and sanitized. The last thing they did,

just before leaving, was to sanitize the ducts with a spray. They didn't

just come in an hook up a hose to suck everything out.

Well, the environmental consultant looked at our house today. He didn't find

anything wrong with it. That is kind of good, but I still don't know what is

bothering me. Our ducts are really dirty. He recommended that we get them

cleaned, buy a HEPA vacuum, and HEPA air filter(s). He took a sample of the air

in the bedroom to store for me. I am not going to have it run, unless a

doctor really wants me to. He seemed to think that the smartest and most cost

effective thing to do is use the money to get our ducts cleaned rather than

spending them on tests.

Maybe our dirty ducts are enough to cause my sinus pressure and fatigue...
