I've been looking for a decent choice at a drive-thru window. Even

though planning ahead and bringing my own is always best - I know I'll

need this choice at times. :) The stats look great other than the

sodium which is a screamer. Anyone else discover emergency drive-thru

choices?

Some of my favorite BFL-friendly fast food meals:

~~Small 's Chili~~

Calories 220

Protein 17g

Carbs 23g

Fat 6g (2.5g sat)

Sodium 780g

~~Mc's Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad w/Newman's Own Low Fat

Balsamic Vinaigrette~~

Calories 260

Protein 30g

Carbs 16g

Fat 9g (3 sat)

Sodium 1620g (gasp)

~~Taco Bell Chicken Gordita Baja fresco style~~

(If you say " fresco style " at Taco Bell, they'll replace all of the

cheese, sauce, and sour cream with salsa. It knocks off a lot of

calories and fat.)

Calories 230

Protein 15

Carbs 29

Fat 6g (1 sat)

Sodium 570g

~~Burger King Hamburger~~

(At most places, a plain hamburger is lower in calories and fat than

any of the chicken or fish choices.)

Calories 290

Protein 15g

Carbs 30g

Fat 12g (4.5 sat)

Sodium 560

Also, check out the " Fast Food for Fitness " document in the club Files

section. It's an article by Bill on how to order from just

about any fast food menu.
