Guest guest
but of course! You'll find them in Ireland , the Orkney Isles or what was once known as Orcadia....oddly on an Edgar Cayce site I was frustrated........the site is hard to navigate and my dog, selkie was named because as a pup she slept in a full water bowl and I had watched the Secret of Roan Inish and named her that. I typed in my name 'Evie' and holy joe, in the ancient land of Orcadia on the mainland is the parish of Evie with the myth of the Selkie!!!!!! Totally mind blowing......I saw the Ocean for the first time at 50 and as soon as I got a glimpse I was in it and I can't swim LOL.....but I'm a celt thru and thru.....American but genetically undiluted, I still have family in Ireland , don't know em tho. drat. Lots of things were passed down in my family that I thought was normal, signs, omens, things that happen in threes....dream time visits etc......nope....didn't learn that till I was an adult. what is normal to me is spooky or 'a tad off' with others....7 generations in a line of grandmothers to mother to me that have rather odd abilities and now my daughters...and I love it.. Mostly. I don't like it when I get that feeling 'winds of change'.....or a 'scent' that suddenly pops in....not a good omen in my house. evie

I saw it for the first time when I went to L.A. several years ago. I'm a mutt myself, but I am part Irish, my name is 100% Irish though! <Lots of things were passed down in my family that I thought was normal, signs, omens, things that happen in threes....dream time visits etc......nope. ....didn't learn that till I was an adult. what is normal to me is spooky or 'a tad off' with others....7 generations in a line of grandmothers to mother to me that have rather odd abilities and now my daughters... and I love it.. And I think some of us are a little psychic as well, I think I am. I remember when I was a kid, my aunt took a metaphysical class at at local junior college, she made a pyramid in her ceramics class, that was when " pyramid power " was big in those circles, and I also remember all of us sitting around looking for auras around each other in my cousin's apartment( I did see them, by the way). I also remember when I was little getting the s**t scared out of me often at family gatherings, as ghost stories were common, as well as stories of UFOs(many in my family have seen them). And I also was terrified that Bigfoot was going to come peeking into my bedroom window! LOL! My dad says " This family has such an open mind, we'll let anything in " .
