Peace in the Middle East blend

To take our anxieties and hurt in another direction, maybe we could

fantasize about a peacemaking, soothing perfume that would combine the

best of all the cultures that exist in the Middle East. You can just add

single notes, horizontal accords or vertical accords. You can offer a

final formulation. Muslim, Jewish and Christian cultures have their

daily scents comingled in the streets where they walk, and wafting out

of windows as they cook, among other scent sources. Fenugreek in the

food, citrus trees blooming in the garden, smouldering agarwood in the

mosques. You get th idea, let's get together on this one. Blend a few

drops at home as others recommend aromatics so you can play along and

lighten the spiritual atmosphere.

I'd start off with Oud, neroli and citrus peel, maybe citron - that's my

vertical accord.
