Thursday workout

Today I did High Step Training (cardio & upper body premix) Not sure why she doesn't include a warm up or cool down on her premixes on this one.

I've apparently got better with my push ups because there were a few segments where she does them and I was able to do them all on my toes.

This premix is pretty tough, the cardio really got my HR kickin'. I didn't do the cool down... I put in my "mish mosh" DVD that I made a while back and did an abs mish mosh using Push Pull and Super Sets

This is the breakdown:

PP- Reverse crunch w/ball- ( 2 sets)

SS- abs wood chops ( 1- 5 lb dumb bell) ( 2 sets)

SS-bent elbow roll out w/ball ( 1 set)

SS- Bicycles ( 2 sets)

SS-side lying bend on ball ( 2 sets)

This routine flows nice but the bicycles really got me, I even had to modify a bit on the second set. After this, I went back to HST and did the stretch.

I wasn't sure how long this workout took, but I was thinking it was longer than what I usually do (here I just got through talking about how I hate anything over an hour) this clocked in at an hour and 10 minutes. It really did feel like a really long workout (felt more like an hour 1/2). I burned 416 calories.

I'm doing yoga this evening.
