hi all zaks doctor is dr christopher heard in hemel hempstead, its

quiet a journey from where we live but sadly in the uk its so limited

with drs with this knowledge. but lets say i know the journey

withoout a map now lol. i will happily share any of our journey with

all of u. its thanks to the internet and other parents with children

like ours that helped me on my recovery path and as help is very

limited us parents need to help each other to help our children as

they r all so presious. for those of u with younger (or older)

children than my zak(10) that sometimes feel is it really working etc

ive got a little story ( a little step but really makes me smile) i

have a teenage daughter (15) zak (10)(recovering autism) and a 2

year old now in my house i have cream carpet up the stairs ( no i

neva picked that colour im not that silly with 3 children lol that

was my partners doing(forgive him hes only a man lol)well zak is the

only 1 that will sit down take his shoes off b4 stepping on the

carpet and even reminds his brother and sister to take theres off

lol!! now 12 months ago he would of been smearing his dinner all over

the carpet given half a chance lol while rubbing my make up on the

paint work lol. zak has the tidest bedroom and even tidys his

brothers side lol lets just say its gone from zak being the most

difficult child to have in the house to him being the little angel!!!

sure we have off moments who doesnt but things are so much better

some times things regress abit or seem to slow down but it picks up

again it really does i never thought my zak would talk and hes now

doing it. i thought id be changing nappys for the rest of my life but

hes now fully toilet trained (even puts his under wear in the wash

basket how trained is that for a guy lol) so never give up if it was

possible 4 my son its possible for all these children lots of love

and hugs nikki and zak ps thank u 4 ur kind words xxxx

Hi Nikki and Zak

Welcome to you both and WOW what a fabulous story. I love to hear

stories about 'older' children responding so positively to Biomed.

All the best and keep up the great work.

o my gosh that would be real nerve racking speaking infrount of so

many people but hey if it helps any body else or spreads hope ill do

it, who knows what milestones zak would of reached by then, he might be

able to do the talk for me (wouldnt that b fantastic!!) only trouble is

im no good with long words lol and have trouble pronouncing some of

zaks supplements o and my spelling is terrible lol but appart from that

ill b fine lol o gosh and i mite become teary as its only when i look

back on things i realize how far we have really come. like

the " eeeeeeeee " sound zak made for 7 odd years i had forgot all about

it till i was reading through old letters from dan doctor and it was

noted! as zak has stopped doing this and hasnt done for about 4 months

id completely forgot and yet a year ago its all i ever heard thought id

b hearing it for the rest of my life and yet id forgot because so much

is changing its beginnig to become difficult how bad things really were

(thank god for video cameras im going to go though all my old tapes to

refresh my mind tonight)makes me realize how lucky we all r that these

wonderful children are part of our lives love nikki xx
