Guest guest
Rhonda, go to this page: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/asbestos/reginsp.shtm it gives you the contact numbers for inspectors in Texas. As weel there are now Texas Mold Regulations as well. That is at this page: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/mold/contact.shtm There are BIG fines for people who are not following the laws. As for Asbestos in the Home when it involves a contractor you would need to talk to OSHA Region 6, contacts are here: http://www.osha.gov/oshdir/r06.html

Guest guest
ABOUT THE GIRL WITH THE FINGER PROBLEM? LOOK UP RAYNAUDS DISEASE....I ALSO HAVE THOSE SYMPTOMS, SINCE EXPOSURE TO A MOLD-INFESTED BUILDING. IN THE WINTER MONTHS, MY FINGERS HURT LIKE ****, IF I TRY TO GO OUT WITHOUT THICK GLOVES ON..... V. [] still nothing happening with clean up at work ETC Anyone that has follow my story about mold at home and mold/abestos at work, my username use to be austingirl and my house got mold remediation and waterproofed crawl space and replaced airhandler and ducts. Spent over $11,000 and had a lot of medical bills also that added up too and purchases that added to the cost even more. Nothing has been done with the so called clean up at my mold infested work place with abestos also. Won't do me any good b/c mycotoxins are everywhere in this building and in the air system here. Took from Jan. this year until August for some type plan to come about removing the mold/abestos. Oh, and with the hurricane remanants, somewhere in here got wet b/c I saw them drying out paper documents. I'm still working at finding a way OUT of here but everything moves so slow. The health and safety guy for our department said he would get forms together that need to be filled out so I can apply for retirement disability but I need to know what my payment will be and also if I have to be without a paycheck waiting for approval from State Medical Board. Still not sure how I can do that b/c I live paycheck to paycheck. No offers from parents to help me with that. Mom says wear a mask or get another job. State Air Quality man said no guarantee another State Gov. building isn't contaminated and that goes for any other work place. I also need time to HEAL and being re- exposed daily isn't helping me with that. Symptoms flare up extremely once I walk in work place. I also react violently to barometer changes and we have drastic barometer changes all the time now. I get sinus pressure like I have never had before. I'm in NC and I can feel those hurricanes when they are way out there before hitting US. Other girl in office that has symptoms got numbness in hand and arm now and I told her she is progressing but I don't think she totally believes it but failed the on-line eye test on Dr. Shoe's site. She plans to leave this place in next year herself. Oh, has anyone ever had tips of fingers turn Blue? That happened to her on just one finger at the end and she said she had not hit it on anything and her doc said he'd never seen anything like that and if she had hit it that hard, she would have remember it! He said maybe a blod clot in finger? Gave her a blood thinner med. I'll keep you posted if and when I can get out of this Toxic Place. I know after 25 years of breathing mycotoxins and abestos at work and 12 years of breathing mycotoxins and who knows what else at home, I will never get totally back to normal.
