Tuesday workout

This morning I did 4 Day Split Kick Box. The cardio in this one is harder then it was in the high intensity step workout, I was huffing and puffing.

The leg section I liked really well. She takes her time and gotta love those breaks in between. The part where she uses the band kind of felt like a waste of time. Just when I was starting to feel it she stops. That exercise probably lasts like a minute if that.

I enjoyed the abs section too, lots of different moves. So far, I think I like HIS step better than this one, but I still liked this one, just not as well. I burned.... ready for this?............... 547 calories!!!!

Here is the breakdown of the workout if anyone is interested.

Round #1

Bar bell squats- warm up set- 20 lb 2nd set- 30 lbs

Dead lifts- 20 lb dumb bells

Round #2

Plie squats- 30 lb dumb bell

leg press- 15 lb dumb bell

Round #3

Low Plane Lunges- 10 lb dumb bells

Leg press/outer thigh- 12 lb dumb bell. ( I didn't use the ankle weights for this. I wanted to do it for the first time without them. I'll use them next time)

Round #4

Outer thigh with band- I used my tubing and it worked just fine.

barbell squats- 30 lb

There was one thing that kind of annoyed me with the stretch section... the music. For some reason the instruments were really screechy sounding, my bird even started chirping. and my beagle kept putting her ears up.lol Other than that, the music is fantastic. Oh do you notice Cathe says that word a lot in these workouts?
