Guest guest
http://skwigg.tripod.com/id51.html it's more expensive than most blenders -- but it's going to last. my blenders used to break more than any other appliance. felicity > Which blender is that? Guest guest
In yet another level up in the price department, consider a Vitamix. They retail about $400+ (Costco has them sometimes for a good price), but have a 10 year warranty and a ONE HORSEPOWER motor. Yikes. I've had mine a year and if your typical Oster blender is a Geo Metro, the Vitamix is a Ford GTO with the V-8 engine. :-) FYI, this is the blender that is used by every smoothie shop on the planet - its base is about 7 " x7 " x6 " tall and weighs 15lbs, so its a gigantic motor meant to take repeated daily abuse. And no, I don't work for Vitamix. *grin* in Albuquerque
Guest guest
If you all want a cheap, really good blender that makes the smoothest drinks and will leave NO chunch of ice in anything, seriously look into the Magic Bullet... I use my everyday, and it was only $80... LOVE IT! Guest guest
I got that Braun MX2050 PowerMax Jug Blender from Walmart for under $50 and LOVE it! When the little plastic tooth broke, (I didn't set it in the base perfectly) they sent me a new part free. It crushes ice in 15 seconds perfectly for shakes it's the bomb just saw it on amazon for $40 - Etana
