Guest guest
Hi , Now you will see where MY money goes I change things around every few months in a quest for more youthful-looking skin - no other reason. I have very dry skin, by the way. Maybe I'm lucky with genetics, but people generally guess my age at least 10 years younger than I really am. By the way, I would love to see what other people use too! For the past few months, here is my routine: In the morning, I clean my face with Neutrogena toner that has no alcohol. Then I put Loreal Age Perfect, for the face, around my mouth area for those lines that run down from my nose to the side of my mouth and to smooth out the pucker lines on top and bottom of my mouth. Then I put Age Perfect for the eyes in my eye area. I let that dry while I'm putting Olay Quench on my legs, arms and chest. Then I come back to my face and put Corium 21 Aloe cream all over my face and neck. I got this in Las Vegas but here is the web site: http://www.aloeveracream.com/. Age Perfect is for people who are around 50 and older. I used to use Revitalift for face and the one for eyes, and I really liked the consistency of these. At night, I cleanse with Noxzema and follow with the Neutrogena toner. Then I use BioMarine Squalane that I ordered from Dr. Lark's site: http://www.drlark.com/c/prod_squalane.asp. This is ok, but I have not decided if I will continue with this when I run out or go back to the Corium 21 (plus Loreal Age Perfect for night). I have been using a sample of Renergie Eye that I got from Lancome, but that stuff is really pricey! I looked on their web site and it is $52! I don't know if I can keep using that but I do like it. I had to start using a toner when I went off the pill and started having adult acne. What is up with that?!? The toner helps, however. Now I will quit before you all think I'm a complete nut case! Guest guest
These are people who know their stuff: Dr. Denese and Dr. Perricone. I watched their lectures when they were aired on PBS. Both of them talk about nutrition for the skin, and different solutions for different ages. I LOVE Dr. Denese products, because they're half the price of Perricone (which is sold at Sephora)- and Denese's book explains the many new products at the local drugstore, that are good for treating certain types and different problems (pores, wrinkles- and their prevention). Here's a link to Dr. Denese's Book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0425204103/sr=8- 1/qid=1149042175/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-0259093-1144722?%5Fencoding=UTF8 Ive walked into Botox spas (NOT FOR ME!!for my mom), and noticed that they are now mimicking the ingrediants that she promotes...but whats most important about today's beauty products is the % of the useful ingrediant. There is NO federal regulation on how little of the ingrediant that the company has to put in its product...therefore a person generally gets ripped off. -- > > > > Anne, > > > > What type of face cream do you use?? > > > > Thanks! > > > > >
Guest guest
Anne, Thank you so much for your detailed answer. That was exactly what I was looking for. I'm horrible and lazy and use whatever soap is in the shower to wash my face. I'll take your email shopping with me! Thanks again, Re: Face Cream Question - warning - long post Hi , Now you will see where MY money goes I change things around every few months in a quest for more youthful-looking skin - no other reason.
