PHH stretch and Firm Cardio Sculpt Blaster

Today was PHH stretch. It was pretty intense but darn that Tony, he kept making me laugh which pulled me out of poses! :-) I didn't feel very relaxed when I finished but I was feeling short on time before I started so I think it was more me than the workout. I also have had The Firm Cardio Sculpt Blaster here for a while from netflix but haven't had the time to try it until now. I kind of kept up with the dance steps but absolutely hated it and quit after only a little while. I felt like added on too quickly (for me anyway) and the choreography was a bit more complicated than I wanted to do. I probably could have done the whole thing, without the beginner modifications I think, but, as I said, felt a bit stressed about time and didn't want to waste any on something I wasn't enjoying at all. Besides the steps, I'm not sure if her cueing was off or if it was just me having a rough time because I didn't know what she meant by some of the cues until I saw them done. The thing I really hated about it though was that it just felt so CREEPY!!! The women were all dressed alike and LOOKED alike in a very bare set so no visual distractions from just them. They all moved in PERFECT unison and looked like a cheerleading squad with phony grins pasted on their faces. It was just making me so uncomfortable!!! I've never felt that way from an exercise video before. whatever her name was didn't seem to have much of a personality to begin with and then with these look a like robots in unison with her and nothing to look at besides them it was just making me nuts. It didn't feel "evil" or anything as dramatic as that, just creepy so I figured no point in making myself miserable and creeped out, and that's when I put in Tony, which was my main objective for today anyway.

Tomorrow I'm thinking might be a play day and I'll start the Buns focus of the PHH rotation on either Sunday or Monday. Tomorrow I might try Cathe's wedding workout which has been waiting for me. Just got a really big (twice what I expected!) paycheck from WW today so I feel less guilty about buying the PHH videos now!!
