A Rash from Milk Thistle?

Has anyone gotten a rash from milk thistle? I started taking milk

thistle yesterday and got a rash in thin skin of my inner arm. It

seems every time I take something to either kill yeast or fungus I get

a rash. I understand that. However now it seems I get a rash from

things I'm told to take for mycotoxins too. Croft said L Cystein and

my face broke out in rash. So I stopped that for awhile and now I

tried milk thistle and got small rash on inner elbow area. Does that

make sense to anyone?? Could it mean substance is letting toxins

loose in my body, rather than dragging them out? Perhaps my liver

just can't take anything in great quantity.

--sounds like a bad reaction,i haven't try milk thisle but had

reactions to L-cystein and many herbs. first time I tried L cysein was

along with about 12 other things, was very ill and kept getting worse.

about a month and i couldn't even get them to stay down, I think I was

trying to detox but the reactions were defeating the purpose. i've

tried some alone. L-cystein made my knee joints hurt really

bad. ??

Yes, I took 500 mg of L Cystein as suggested and

my face broke out in red blotches. It took a few

days to go away but I've been getting lots of

rashes, so intolerant of substances. I will try

a lower dose in future but right now I have to

get current rash go away.

Not sure it is the Milk Thistle but this has been

the trend, when I take a new supplement or

medicine, I get a rash so I think so. It sounds

so gentle though.

different ones. going to try the alpha lipoic acid again and see how

it goes. -- In , bbw <barb1283@...>

Jeanine, I rashed with the alpha lipoic acid

also. I just seem to be rashing with everything.

I think I did damage to my liver when I took

some Nystatin for yeast and didn't stop the

medicine when my skin rashed. I didn't stop

because I thought it was poison ivy. I had the

rash almost the entire six months I was on

Nystatin but there is poison ivy all around my

house so I thought my cat was dragging it in.

EEK, my house really is killing me..if it wasn't

for fact there was lots of poison ivy around, I

would have known to look for an internal cause.

I think it is more me than the supplement, but

wouldn't hurt to take small amounts of anything

new and build up to the dose you want. I keep

thinking I'm going to do that and then I dive

right into something new again and get in trouble

again. It's just that the things I have been

trying sound so mild and I think probably are,

but just not for me right now. Hopefully my

liver will heal.
