Hi , I sweat a lot when I go for a walk but I think you must sweat more than I do I try to make sure that I have time to cool off before I go to work. I don't really know how you can solve your stinkbod problem... Maybe if you had a wash rag and could towell off that would help. I feel pretty good about exercising again but I don't think my energy level is back to where it used to be. My mom told me that a friend that worked with her that had a hysterectomy took a year to feel like herself. I don't think it will take me that long though...hopefully only a couple more months. I signed up for a swimming class to improve my technique. I'm planning to

get my lifeguard certification in the spring so that I can lifeguard at my pool (townhouse complex.) My class is every Wednesday night for an hour. I will need to do more swimming than that to improve so I'm going to look around for a place to go for open swimming. The volleyball is going pretty good but right now I don't feel comfortable diving indoors, hopefully in a month or so I will. I'm really not playing up to my standards (I'm an above average player) but that's probably because I'm not playing enough...with time I will improve. This week I will be playing 3 or 4 times so that will help. It's the same thing for me with bowling. If I only bowl once every two weeks, I suck! If I bowl a couple of times every couple of weeks I bowl better.

My work schedule is pretty crazy right now. I'm doing a lot of freelance interpreting which means I'm interpreting for Deaf people at their Dr. offices or other one-time-only assignments. I only have one college class I'm interpreting M/W for 2 hours but so far the freelance assignments have kept me busy. Tomorrow (Wednesday) I will be interpreting PT for a Deaf client and that will be for 11 days so that will be a lot of money for me. I'm paid a 2 hour minimum plus mileage so it adds up fast. Anyway, I will be getting into the swing of things soon and start doing exercise videos along with walking, swimming and playing volleyball. I ordered the PUSH program and chose Bob Harper (biggest loser) as my trainer so I will let you know if it's any good. Take care and

sorry so LONG! By the way, I want to see SICKO for sure! I finally got insurance and of course my insurance agent says that movie isn't true...yeah right! We know the truth don't we??? Jen Pink wrote: Hi Jen! Sorry I'm so late in replying to you about

walking!I agree that adding intervals will make me burn more calories walking - good suggestion! I'd do that too, except that I'm fairly sweaty as it is when I'm through briskly walking the entire 3 miles that if I added in stairs (cause there are some) or sprints that I'd be the stinkabod of the office!OT: Jen I saw 's Sicko a couple of nights ago and totally thought of you. You need to see this film/documentary on health insurance. I was so depressed after seeing it I didn't sleep well. ANYWAY back on topic. I see you're getting in lots of swimming and volleyball! That's super! How does it feel to be exercising regularily again?
